CREATIVE DANCE FOR 2-5 YEAR OLDS
Promenade Dance Studio offers three unique and creative dance programs specifically designed for students aged two to five years old. With an emphasis on creativity and fun, we use an imaginative and playful approach in each class to encourage a love of movement and dance.
The teaching staff ensure that the individuality and creative potential of each student is embraced and nurtured, and whilst classes at this level are non-technical, fundamental skills such as co-ordination, imagination and musicality are developed.
Our three programs are briefly outlined below:
Tiny Tots
2012 Class Times: Tues 9am or Thurs 10am
Cost: $110 per term (prices current until June 2012)

Our Tiny Tots class is a fun and creative introduction to movement and dance. Using a different storybook each week, the class is inspired around the contents and characters of the book, encouraging creativity, imagination and enjoyment. The children are encouraged to use their imagination with the use of instruments, props and dress ups for characters. Classes are filled with music, singing and dance.

Creative Movement
2012 Class Times: Tues 9.45am or Tues 10.40am or Thurs 9.00am or Thurs 10.40am or Sat 9.15am
Cost: $132 per term (prices current until June 2012)

Creative Movement is a playful approach to introducing the very basics of dance. Through the use of movement, song, mime and props, children are taught many skills such as co ordination, motor skills, musicality, rhythm, concentration and following instruction.
Each week, children are taken on an adventure – your child will never guess where we’re going next! There is much fun to be had when you’re performing at the circus, visiting fairyland or discovering outer space. Our themed classes provide you with the opportunity to explore and develop their imagination.

Prep Dance
2012 Class Times: Tues 3.30pm or Thurs 3.30pm or Sat 8.30am or Sat 10.45am
Cost: $132 per term (prices current until June 2012)
(turning 5 in year of enrolment)
The Prep Dance class is a more structured class for little ones, offering a basic introduction to ballet technique, combined with up tempo jazz and singing. A musical and energetic experience, this class combines the three facets of performance to keep students entertained, engaged and learning.
